GORDON-BENNETT CUP

An ornate poster headed "THE INTERNATIONAL MOTOR-RACE FOR THE GORDON-BENNETT CUP — JULY 2, 1903", laid out as panels of early racing cars, driver portraits in gold oval frames, and the flags of England, the United States, France and Germany. Captions name the cars and drivers, including the 80 H.P. Peerless Car (Mr. L. Mooers), 145 H.P. Napier (Mr. S. F. Edge), 80 H.P. Winton (Mr. Percy Owen), 70 H.P. Mors (M. Gabriel), 60 H.P. Mercedes (Mr. Foxhall Keene) and 70 H.P. Panhard (Henri Farman). The foot reads "THE COMPETING CARS AND THEIR DRIVERS" with a note on the cars' racing colours.
