Custom Orders
We make custom signs and custom aprons to order. If you have a brand, a farm name, a workshop, a family joke or a piece of artwork you want turned into a Chromadek sign or a gabardine apron, we can print it.
What to send us
The more of this you can give us up front, the quicker we can come back to you with a price.
- What you want made: a sign, an apron, or both.
- Size: our standard sign sizes are 270 × 350 mm portrait and 350 × 270 mm landscape, and our aprons are 620 × 820 mm. Tell us if you need something different and we will let you know what is possible.
- Artwork: any image, logo or photo you have. The higher the resolution the better the print. If you only have an idea rather than a file, describe it and we will talk it through.
- Wording: exactly how you want any text to read, including spelling and punctuation. We print what you send us.
- Quantity: one piece, or a run for a business, club or event.
How it works
- Send us the details above using the contact form or email hello@oudewerfcollectables.co.za.
- We come back to you with a price and confirm what the finished piece will look like.
- Once you approve it, we print and ship it to you.
What custom pieces are made of
Exactly the same as everything else we sell. Signs are UV-printed onto Chromadek board for a hard, colour-fast finish and arrive ready to hang. Aprons are sublimated onto premium gabardine with a double front pocket and adjustable straps. There is more detail on how our signs are made.
Already made for someone else
Have a look at our custom signs for a sense of what other people have had made, from farm and business boards to personal commissions.
Lead times and returns
Please ask us for a current lead time when you enquire, as it depends on what you are having made and how busy we are.
One thing worth knowing before you order: because a custom piece is made to your specification, it falls outside the seven day cooling-off right that applies to our other products. It is still covered if it arrives faulty or damaged. Our refund policy sets this out in full.
